The Kiefer Family Reunion
Dr. Herman Kiefer arrived in Detroit in 1849 with a sword, a diploma and a small bag of gold coins. Today his descendants are scattered from Michigan to Sweden, and most of us have never met. We're planning a family reunion in Detroit: a celebration of the family, a look at where it all began, and a chance to finally put faces to names.
If you'd like an invitation, register below. Every living descendant of Herman and Frances Kiefer is welcome, through any branch and under any last name: Kiefer, Danziger, Parker, Blackburn, Heym, Orr, Nilsson, Jones, Bonning, Marr, Lawrie, Owen, Bayliss, Bajis, Gilbert and more. Spouses and partners are welcome too.
Date and venue will be set once we know who's coming and when works best. Registering simply puts you on the invitation list; it doesn't commit you to anything.
